VCAL Assessment principals and rules of evidence
Sheila Douglas – Envisiontraining
“This is so needed!!”
“Much clearer about assessment, Thank you.”
“Well organised, and we were able to discuss at classroom level.”
“I learned a lot from this training session! Thank you!”
Achievement of the individual VCAL outcomes follows a different set of assessment methods and tools than those used in graded certificates like the VCE. Feedback from Quality Assurance (QA) panels and our own PD evaluations tells us that many teachers are looking for support around Assessment. So here is your opportunity to increase your skills in judging if a student has met the requirements of a learning outcome and to confidently present your evidence at QA! Sheila will outline the Principles of Assessment, Rules of Evidence as well as the wide breadth of assessment methods and tools available to capture evidence. This Masterclass offers a sound insight into the theory behind assessment as well as a practical session in which you will be supported to develop assessment tools for your individual project or program. Please note: this PD does not focus on RTO compliance and is most suited for school teachers.
