A practical, interactive workshop presented by Mark Collard - popular VALA conference session presenter - which will demonstrate dozens of activities that you can use to invite your students to connect with one another, and create a more supportive learning environment. The workshop activities are simple, non-threatening, and contagiously fun - which makes engaging your students so much easier, and therefore promotes a more productive learning environment. Mark will focus on presenting an actual sequence of activities, and frequently discuss how you can integrate similar outcomes in your programs. You will be able to immediately implement these ideas into your classroom, and will take away many activity ideas and resources to equip you with the skills to do this for yourself.
