Submit a proposal to present

Would you like to present at the 2019 VALA Annual Conference?

The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning is a Senior Secondary education pathway unique in the Australian education landscape.

Delivered in a wide variety of education sectors, from all government-, independent-, TAFE- and community settings, the VCAL certificate has a different purpose, meaning and outcomes for each sector and the diverse student cohort they service.  This, at times, makes it rather mis-understood by students, parents, teachers and employers alike.

You, me and all involved at the grass root level know the power of VCAL and the amazing opportunities and success stories that make us passionate and proud to be part of the VCAL.

Help us celebrate VCAL!

The 2019 VALA Annual Conference ‘VCAL Loud and Proud’ celebrates VCAL success stories – at every opportunity, at every level, with all VCAL cohorts – and we’re seeking your input!

We are inviting educators, coordinators and principals to share their VCAL success stories on Friday, 21st June at Jasper Hotel, Melbourne CBD. We are seeking submissions on outstanding projects, programs, industry and community connections, individual VCAL pathways and how you advocate for VCAL in your setting, both internally and externally.

This is a great opportunity to show case your work and attend the conference for free with first pick to session selection!

(Please note: Presenters attend free of charge, co-presenters will be charged VALA member rate, regardless of member status).

Please fill out the Proposal form or contact Helene on 0488 440 482 or if you would like to discuss this further.

Submissions close at COB on Friday March 15th, 2019 – presenters will be notified by COB Friday March 22nd, 2019
