Notice to Schools 78/2019 − 31 July 2019

Applications are open for the 2020 Lynne Kosky Memorial VCAL Grants. Each grant is valued at $6250 and will be awarded to up to eight registered Victorian VCAL providers.

Applications close 5pm Friday 13 September 2019.

Notice to Schools 83/2019 − 7 August 2019

The VCAA is seeking applications from VCAL teachers to join VCAL Quality Assurance (QA) panels across VCAL QA regions.

Teachers are encouraged to read the specific information about VCAL QA Panels 2020 and refer to the information about QA roles on the VCAA website.

Interested teachers can apply online through the Sessional Staff Management System (SSMS). Applications close Sunday 25 August 2019.

4. Be part of a review of Gambling Foundation resources

The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation (VRGF) has developed several VCAL curriculum resources that have been piloted by senior high school teachers and are designed to be user friendly and flexible.

The VRGF is seeking expressions of interest from experienced VCAL Literacy and Personal Development skills teachers to review/critique these specific resources to ensure they current and looking to update.

It will involve approximately 3-4 hours of work of which selected applicants will be renumerated accordingly. If you would like to be considered for this task please email mark.riddiford@responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au stating your name, contact details, current school and brief summary of VCAL teaching experience by COB Tuesday the 27th of August.
